Drama and All-American Appe Pie. Yes, this redheaded beauty can be anything she wants. The world is at her feet!   We did Kendall’s  college senior photo session in gorgeous Laguna Hills. Beauty, brains, talent and a super easy laugh that would instantly make anyone want to be her friend.  A soon-to-be graduate of Chapman University and the job offers are already coming in!

Ok, this is not a photo that would go on a graduation announcement, but I had to do something a little dramatic with her. The hair and eyes were begging for it.

As soon as she was in the sunny field she looked like a star. Well, I’m often right. She actually sings! She also has  a beautiful horse who couldn’t join us for the session. Maybe next time!

Sunshine, rosy cheeks, hugs n’ giggles and secret hiding places.  Playmates are great and the best ones are right there in your very own family.  The ones who’ve known you since you were born and the ones who celebrate all of life’s milestones with you.  Grandma and Grandpa’s home was the perfect location for this sibling/cousin photo shoot and the promise of warm cookies and cold milk was everything a kid could ask for!

The Voice: I’ve been  excited to share Cristine’s photos because she’s quickly becoming one of my favorite people and you don’t know it yet, but she is going to be a star. A major recording artist. I’m talking sparkling gown- wearing diva (without the bad attitude).  So, I call her The Voice. She is also one of those people whose joy-filled spirit draws you in and you can’t help but smile.

The Light:  Her photos also inspired me to do a post about light. Yes, we actually waited for this light to show off her shining personality in the perfect way.  This is my absolute favorite kind of lighting. Sun-in-the-hair, catch your breath, in the moment kind of light that brings everything and everyone to life.  Fresh & Bright. I can almost feel the sun and soft breeze and smell the country air.  So, when you call me about a session and I gab on and on about the light, it’s because I want this for you.

She says she was laughing with me, but I’m not so sure. And I have to say laughter is beautiful.

The Hair:  Lush & Gorgeous. So not fair.

They first met in the third grade and fell in love as man and woman. They are sweet, funny and sassy and balance each other perfectly.

Kelsey is crazy gorgeous. I’ve photographed three of her sisters (there are 5) and I have to say super model/stunning genes run in that family.

Just as the Metro drove away, the conductor made kissing sounds over the loudspeaker, after he said to Ryan, “You’re the man!”.
